This is why you use a broker.
If you think it’s a claim, you can call us and we’ll handle it on your behalf.
If you were to contact an Insurer directly with your ‘first notice of loss’, there can be a lot of uncertainty.
The customer service experience can be reduced when you’re dealing directly with a claims representative. Having the broker acting as the ‘middle man’ means that you’re not stressing over having an uncooperative insurer or a negative call centre experience.
Instead, you have peace of mind knowing that you’ve got someone with your best interests at heart—who is trained within the industry and understands policy wording.
When lodging a new claim, depending on the loss, we will require information such as date and time of loss, supporting documentation, photographs and witnesses. We’ll also go through the policy and outline all of the relevant clauses that may or may not affect your claim.
Depending on the nature of the claim, an assessor may be appointed to evaluate the claim. We will navigate the entire process for you. The nature of dealing with insurers can be slow, and time consuming—which is something you don’t need to worry about.
As an insurance brokerage, we will keep you in the loop and let you know where the process is at. Once the claim is finalised, we will organise settlement either as cash or repairs on your behalf. If it doesn’t go smoothly and does not meet your expectation, the broker will go in and bat on your behalf without the need for you to contact them directly.
